Owner Surrender Information:

This page offers information to anyone looking to surrender a pet that has been found or is simply in need of a new home.

What we take:

We take most dogs that are good with other dogs and children. All of our foster homes have other pets and most have children. We need to insure that the animal is good with other dogs before accepting them into our rescue. Due to the safety of placing the dog with children, we also must insure they are good with children.

What we DO NOT take:

We cannot take a dog that is not good with other dogs and children. Because all of our dogs are placed in foster homes we must insure the safety of that home. Most of our fosters have other dogs and children. Because of this, we must know that the animal will not harm anything within that home.

At this time, we cannot accept any cats or kittens. We are having a very hard time fostering them out and are short on fosters for the cats we currently have. We apologize for this but we cannot take an animal that we do not have foster homes for.

Animal Surrender and Relinquishment Agreement

I hereby certify that I am:

(a) The guardian (also known as the "owner") of the animal described below; or

(b) I am the authorized representative of the guardian or owner of the animal described below.

I also certify that I have unrestricted and complete authority to convey, surrender and relinquish (collectively, "relinquish") the animal to Paws of Tomorrow, Inc. and I hereby further certify that the animal has not bitten anyone in the last 10 days.

By relinquishing this animal to Paws of Tomorrow, Inc., I acknowledge and agree that Paws of Tomorrow shall have the sole and exclusive legal right to make all decisions, and to take all action, regarding that animal. I hereby acknowledge my understanding of, and agreement with, the following terms and conditions that govern the relinquishment of this animal:

(a) If the animal is of suitable health and temperament, it will be placed in the Paws of Tomorrow adoption program.

I hereby release Paws of Tomorrow, Inc. and its employees, staff, agents and/or representatives from any claims or demands that I have, or may have, that:

(a) May be connected with the animal;

(b) May arise out of Paws of Tomorrow’s care of this animal.
