This supplement for dogs is a MUST have. Dogs do not shed because of the breed dynamics, dogs shed because of lack of vitamins. Please understand that we are NOT saying that your dog will never shed another hair. What we can say is that you will not notice the shedding again. Some of our foster homes have MANY dogs in them. We highly recommend Revolution to anyone with a dog or cat. It protects against internal parasites such as Heartworm, roundworm, and Hookworm as well as treating for fleas and ticks. So this product replaces your frontline plus and heartworm treatment. It is about the same cost as Frontline but does the job of two medicines. It will also effectively prevent mange and ear mites in dogs. This medicine does require a prescription but can be obtained easily though any vet.

How Do Topical Flea and Tick Preventives Work?

Application
Topical flea and tick preventives come in liquid form. They are applied to dogs and cats, usually between the shoulder blades, by parting the hair and applying to the skin. It’s important that the product is applied directly to the skin and not just onto the animal’s hair.

Absorption
Once applied, topical flea and tick preventives are absorbed through the skin and begin circulating into the bloodstream.
